Animal Scientist 

  Bullseye Calf Ranch seeks Animal Scientists in Lovington, NM. 

Responsible for evaluating and developing programs for animal nutrition, calving, and herd health to improve production operations. Specific duties include: 

(1) evaluating nutrition and feed requirements to determine appropriate rations, feed combinations, feeding schedules, and feeding programs; 

(2) monitoring herd health; 

(3) developing protocols for sick/pregnant cow care and transition cow management; and 

(4) advisingmanagers on methods to improve industry programs. 

 Applicants must have at least B.S. in Animal Science, Veterinary Medicine, or related; one year of experience within the North American Cattle Industry; and specific background in cattle and herd healthcare.
